    Thirty miles of fjord, thousand-foot walls, twin glaciers at the end. The cruise ships stop at the mouth. We don't.

    Humpback feeding grounds. In summer we cut the engine and let them come to us. They usually do.

  • LeConte Glacier

    The southernmost tidewater glacier in North America. We thread the icebergs to the face: lose enough to hear it crack.

We had a trip of a lifetime! Traveled 7 nights and stayed at a remote cabin in The Chugach National Forrest that was remote, accessible by float plane. We used Rusts Flying service to fly us in and out of the cabin and then also to Cresent Lake in the Lake Clark National Park by float plane.
